About the Course
The re:lax Microneedling course is an ABT accredited course, where you will learn how to safely and effectively use the an electric microneedling pen and the re:lax stamp and glow manual microneedling tool.
This one-of-a kind short course has been designed by Master Facialist and Founder of re:lax Skin School Katie White, sharing her years of experience and knowledge working with a range of clients who choose needling for an assortment of goals.
If you are a qualified facialist with no experience of needling, this is the perfect course for you.
Key areas of study include:
Client Consultations – Mastering the art of explaining treatments, identifying contraindications, conducting patch tests, and addressing potential reactions.
Post-Treatment Care – Creating follow-up plans and educating clients about aftercare, especially sun protection.
Customer Service – Perfecting communication to create the perfect treatment for your clients.
Hands-on Practice – Gaining confidence by performing live treatments under expert supervision.
What to expect
This ABT accredited course will ensure you feel confident offering needling treatment to your clients once completed. teach you how to build on your existing skills, perform our of our most popular facials.
You will learn how to safely and effectively use both an electric microneedling pen and manual microneedling stamp on your clients, as well as proper equipment care and disposal.
Theory: Online (2-3 hours)
This must be completed prior to the start of the course and it covers the following:
Anatomy and physiology
Contraindications
Health and safety
Preparing your treatment space
Consultation, communication and client Care
Underpinning knowledge and best practice quiz
Practical: 3 days in person using a combination of gua sha, facial cupping, warm and cold mushrooms, rollers and the acupressure tool
Preparing your clients’ skin
Skin analysis
Preparing a safe working environment
How to prepare an electric microneedling pen
Selecting an appropriate needle sizes, and tailor treatments to individual client needs
Electric microneedling technique
Manual microneedling stamp technique
